The trail to the Mirante do Vale do Pati traverses the high-altitude fields of the Rio Preto plains, culminating in a truly breathtaking view. With alternating sections of ascent and descent, river crossings at Rio Preto, and stunning scenery along 12 km, this journey is an adrenaline rush. This is one of the most photographed spots in Vale do Pati – a surreal experience that deserves to be lived and captured.
The name is evocative of the multiple waterfalls that spring from a semicircle of rock, creating a spectacular curtain of water. Hiking the trail takes approximately six hours, with a moderate level of difficulty. Access is facilitated by the dirt road leading to Guiné. This is one of the must-see attractions on the route through the Vale do Pati crossing.
