A caminhada \u00e9 realizada a maior parte do tempo dentro do c\u00e2nion do Rio Baiano, onde \u00e9 poss\u00edvel avistar vest\u00edgios hist\u00f3ricos de garimpo em diversos pontos da trilha e ainda curtir um banho no Po\u00e7o do Fervedor. Na Chapada Diamantina, os locais chamados de po\u00e7o s\u00e3o os trechos mais largos do rio, onde as \u00e1guas est\u00e3o mais calmas, tornando-se um ambiente ideal para nadar e se refrescar.
